Letter from the Editor

Dear Readers,
February is a month about love, but all love really starts with loving yourself. Selflove includes self-care and ensuring that your body remains in good health. After all, you can’t give to others unless you’re feeling whole and healthy. There are many ways to do this. Keeping your cholesterol in check is one example of an important self-care priority. Taking the time to eat foods that promote good and reduce bad cholesterol, getting the proper screenings and taking medications if appropriate all contribute to better heart health. The heart is one of the most important organs in the body, so we’ve got to do all we can to make sure it’s functioning well.
