As we mark the observance of National Nurse’s week, I reminisce on the role models that have influenced my impact on the profession. My due diligence is to pay homage to my SHEro, Mary Eliza Mahoney, and HEro Dr. Ernest Grant. Both are pioneers and visible trailblazers, proving that nursing barriers can be broken and glass ceilings must be shattered.
