2020 is a year that will forever reign as the most impactful year of my life as a human being and as a nurse. After the World Health Organization determined 2020 was the year of the nurse, the American Nurses Association extended this honor for the year 2021, promoting that nurses would excel, lead and innovate in healthcare and impact the lives of all patients encountered daily.
